THOMAS D. DANIEL is an advisor, consultant, developer, and investor as the founder and President of Th. Daniel Investments, LLC. Â This privately-held firm leverages over 25-years of experience to add value with respect and caring for people while adhering to the highest standards of quality and integrity in every relationship made.
Since 2010, Th. Daniel Investments, LLC (TDI) has specialized in asset management on behalf of business-owners, developers, investors, foundations, families, and individuals.
For the prior ten years Tom Daniel was Principal of Triad Properties Corporation, a multi-disciplined real estate operating company that offers development, acquisition, management and investment services headquartered in Huntsville, Alabama. Since commencing operations in 1994, Triad and related entities have acquired and developed approximately 8 million square feet of commercial real estate, valued at over $1 billion, in cities such as Atlanta, Huntsville, Dallas, Nashville, Memphis and Orlando, to name a few. Many of these projects were joint-ventured with institutional partners such as Crow Holdings, CIGNA, Georgia Tech Foundation, Cecil B. Day Foundation, Fairway Investments, London-Feldman Companies, and the Westervelt Company. Joining Triad in 1999 he held the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of Triad Properties Corporation from January, 2003 to December, 2009.
Prior to Triad, Tom Daniel spent 15 years with Trammell Crow Company in Atlanta, serving as President of TC Atlanta, Inc. and Managing Director of the Atlanta Division. Starting as a leasing agent in 1984, he quickly rose to Partner of the deeply development oriented Atlanta division in 1988. With the downturn in 1989-1991, Tom stepped into the city leadership role of Atlanta in 1991. With a strong team approach the Atlanta operation diversified into construction, brokerage, and acquisitions as well as a focus on corporate asset services. Financial partners were also attracted to the more disciplined approach; under the direction of Mr. Daniel, Trammell Crow Company’s Atlanta division led the national firm in growth and profitability and was responsible for the marketing and managing in excess of 15 million square feet of industrial, office, and retail space.
Tom Daniel, CCIM, received his MBA from The Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania after earning his BIE from Georgia Tech, where he was the Captain of the football team.
Tom, as a founding member and Treasurer, is very active with the S. Main Chapel & Mercy Center and is also highly engaged with Kweli Moyo, a faith-based non-profit 501(c)3 charity serving in Kenya, as well as Swaziland, Africa.
